Massage & Bodywork

Swedish/Relaxation Massage - $100 for 1hr - is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines lotion, gel, and/or essential oils with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

*my work is grief- and trauma- sensitive.


Specific/Focused Massage - $100 for 1hr- targets one or two areas and uses mainly deep tissue as the main modality.  This form of bodywork aims to relieve tension in the deeper muscle layers of the body and is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries.  Due to the nature of this deeper and specific work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the tissue during the session.

Combo Swedish and Specific - $150 for 1hr30 - is also a tailored session; can be a combination of relaxation and focused work on one or two specific areas.


Chair massage - $25 for 12min - is a popular way to relieve stress or tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.

Yoga-CBT*-  - is a 6-week program for adults with anxiety and prolonged stress.

Y-CBT blends the effective components of cognitive behavioral therapy with Kundalini yoga to teach participants to break the cycle by targeting both the cognitive (thought) and physical symptoms of anxiety simultaneously. The program helps create a neutral place that leaves self-judgment and criticism behind.  Using gentle cognitive restructuring the participant learns to quiet negative self-talk of anxiety and worry, while also calming the body with a variety of yoga and breathing techniques from Kundalini yogic traditions.
